This movie has everything great from eighties slasher films in a nastily nostalgic nineties setting. Thanks to our constant war situation, it could easily be placed in today’s world. I’m not touching politics here though. This is usually how I escape the truly fucked up real world. This movie was written by cult film icon Larry Cohen and directed by master of the slasher William Lustig. It also has tons of recognizable faces from the world of horror and exploitation, like Isaac Hayes, Robert Forster, and P.J. Soles. I got this one on the Blue Underground label for just under ten bucks.
