The Burning Moon (1992)

Films of the splatter variety are pretty appealing to horror collectors. The eighties and nineties films also possessed an extra level of nastiness due to the practical effects. Without CGI, the filmmakers really had to get creative, especially the ones on small budgets. Olaf Ittenbach is one of the world renowned masters of low budget Splatter cinema. The Burning Moon got a nice release from Intervision awhile back. This film has some of the craziest and most memorable gore scenes of all time.
