Deaducated Horror Challenge Day #26: What’s the Best Film of the New Millenium?

image

When the world didn’t end from the Y2K bug, the horror genre still seemed to be falling apart. With an ocassional gem here and there through the nineties, the new millenium was looking pretty rough. It was Danny Boyle, however, that changed the game. He changed some zombie rules too. While this film is controversial among classic zombie fans, I don’t think they can deny the fact that it jump-started the horror world in 2002. I love this film, despite the nerd controversy that it creates. Boyle is an amazing filmmaker. He paints a memorable picture of every genre he tackles. So if you haven’t seen this film, you need to find it and experience one of the most memorable horror films you will ever watch.

Stay dead-ucated!

  1. I wrote a song which has a bit of a 28 Days Later feel to it…it may be something you could appreciate…https://juniorchills.wordpress.com/2016/02/12/when-the-time-comes-round-our-song-which-was-omitted-from-28-days-later-soundtrack/
