When the nineties came, the horror genre was beginning to get stale. It had nothing on the pure sadness of the age of the remake in the 2000’s; but, the genre was definitely losing it’s flare and popularity. I truly believe that the Scream franchise may have saved the horror genre. Wes Craven brought together a great cast and created a mystery/slasher/comedy that revitalized my love for horror. Like every decade, there were still good films that came out. This, however, is the one I watched a million times.
